Nikko is a small city at the entrance to Nikko National Park. Many cultural treasures, including temples and shrines, in the area have been designated World Heritage sites. Additionally, the National Park offers mountainous landscapes, lakes, waterfalls, hot springs, wild monkeys and hiking trails. It is impossible to visit Nikko without feeling the majestic history and breathtaking natural beauty that permeates from the area.
